Salami, known as “saucisson” or “saucisson sec” in French, is the "king" of French delicatessen. It is a variety of dry cured sausage typically made of pork, or a mixture of pork and other meats. France Gourmet only uses the prime cuts of pork, mincing it and seasoning it with salt, pepper and garlic. This wonderful sausage is carefully and passionately made with a natural casing and is dried for several weeks before it’s ripe for consumption.
